Phoebe has been playing music since she was 7 – starting with classical piano and French Horn through school, and later picking up a guitar and singing her own compositions. After grade 8, Phoebe had found a way to combine her technical piano skills and more folky songwriting to create a unique sound. Phoebe is constantly seeking out music from different cultures and traditions, and after studying Music Culture: Theory and Production at university, she continues to train in contrasting styles and techniques, such as Latin piano, and Mongolian throat singing.
Phoebe has been singing with people internationally and deepening her practice of collaborative vocal improvisation for the last few years. She currently sings and performs with 5-piece European female band Oöm and London based Pascol.
